Casein is far superior to whey protein in its amino acid profile. While whey contains too much of the anti-thyroid, inflammatory amino acid Tryptophan, Casein is particularly low in Tryptophan and rich in anti-inflammatory, pro-metabolic amino acids including Glutamic Acid and Leucine which encourage muscle strength.
